Service Development Officer

image: Tracey Coles Hello, My Name is Tracey Cole and I am the Service Development Officer (SDO) for the Lancashire, South Cumbria and Greater Manchester region.

I am responsible for working with volunteers, colleagues and health and social care professionals to develop new and existing services for people affected by MS.

My background is in Health Service Management. I have worked in various Trusts across the North West of England and Wales and managed a number of services including those for MS.

Over the coming months I hope to make key contacts with service users and health and social care providers so that new and existing services can be developed to meet both local need and national guidance for people affected by MS.
Key priority areas may include increasing the availability of physiotherapy, counselling, MS specialist nursing and specialist MS Neurologist services.
Input from those affected by MS is vital in this process so as to ensure that the most appropriate services are available. I would be delighted to hear your thoughts if there are particular issues that you feel I need to be aware of.
I am very much looking forward to working with all the branches across the region.
