Awards

Mary Lowe

From Nottingham, Nottinghamshire gained the Bronze award.

Champion profile:

Mary Lowe has an incredible story to tell. She is believed to be the oldest person in Britain to take part in a wing walk. Mary has 5 children, 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren. At the age of 91, she decided to do a wing walk to raise money for the MS Society in 2005 despite being partially sighted.

As Mary has a family member and a good friend with MS, she decided to support the MS Society by getting sponsorship for doing her wing walk. She suggests organising garage sales and other events to support your fundraising.
