What is this site for?

The site was redeveloped in 2001 to make it informative and accessible to people of all ages affected by MS, including professionals working in the field.

The information on this site is not intended to be an alternative to seeking professional help and advice. The information contained herein is for educational use only. If you believe you may be affected by MS you should consult your doctor. 

Content quality

Content includes evidence-based information about MS and living with the condition, progress in research, specialist information for care professionals, and MS Society services, campaigns, news and events. Content goes through a quality checking process before it is published. 

Accessibility

The MS Society website observes a number of standards for accessibility including a checklist developed from focus group feedback.

The MS Society only links to relevant sites that have passed quality checks covering content, form and conduct.
