2006 Professional Network Conferences
Each year the professional network brings together health and social care professionals from all disciplines, at all levels, to explore the latest developments in MS.
Through this one day conference for health and social care professionals working with people affected by MS, the MS Society provided an opportunity to explore successful service development.

Following the successful professional network conference in Canterbury in 2005, the second South East London Kent & Medway regional neuroscience conference took place in Bexleyhealth on 27 October 2006 The theme was MS care: challenges and opportunities - from the NSF to our health, our care, our say.
The focus was on overcoming barriers and innovations in practice.

The regional partnership forums in Yorkshire and the North of England held a joint conference in Wetherby to celebrate good practice in the regions.

This event in Basingstoke was a big success, with over 100 health and social care professionals in attendance.
Through this free one-day conference for health and social care professionals working with people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS), the MS Society aimed to provide an opportunity to explore successful service development in the North of England.
The Society worked with MS International Federation (MSIF) and the European MS Platform (EMSP) to bring together key speakers from the USA, Canada, Germany, Italy, India, Romania and Denmark, as well as the UK, to share information, knowledge and best practice in MS care.
The day featured workshops and presentations on the latest developments in MS research, information on social and respite care, practical information about living with MS and much more.
