Support and planning ahead - for people severely affected by MS (MS Essentials 16)

Download now

The information in this booklet is for people with MS who are managing many ongoing or severe symptoms, and who have high levels of disability. This information might also be helpful for families, friends and carers.

This booklet talks about the role of ‘holistic’ palliative care for managing MS at different times, as well as ways to plan for the future. For information about managing different symptoms see individual symptoms pages.

The information in this booklet sometimes covers sensitive areas, which some people may find upsetting. It looks at very personal issues which can be difficult – emotionally and practically – for everyone involved, including families, carers, friends and care professionals.
