Remember the MS Society in your will

Display published date:  Yes

Forward thinking today can help beat MS tomorrow.

Our ultimate goal is to beat MS for good. And until that day comes, we’re committed to supporting people who are living with MS today, while we fund the research that could lead to more effective treatments and a cure.

A third of this work is funded by wonderful supporters who left a gift to the MS Society in their will to help future generations. Legacies are truly vital and a gift of any size is gratefully received.

How do I leave a gift?

If you don’t already have a will, we recommend speaking to a solicitor. They’ll advise on what your will should contain to ensure all your wishes are carried out. So that your gift reaches the MS Society, please include our full name and registered charity details: Multiple Sclerosis Society, registered charity nos. 1139257 / SC041990 .

If you have already made a will, you can amend it using a ‘ codicil ’ - a formal addition to your existing will. Again, it's always best to involve a solicitor.

To find out more about this special way of giving, or to request our free brochure, email legacies@mssociety.org.uk , call Diane Bennett, legacy support officer, on 020 8438 0845 or if you live in Scotland, call Hazel Johnstone on 0131 335 4071.

I believe the MS Society will find a cure for future generations. That’s why I’ve left a legacy in my will to the MS Society Lillian Malcolm, Dundee
